Big Dog Ranch Rescue was among the nonprofit groups announcing in August that it was yanking its annual fundraising event from President Donald Trump‘s Mar-a-Lago Club in Palm Beach after Trump’s controversial comments about the deadly white supremacist rally in Charlottesville, Va.

The event is chaired by the president’s daughter-in-law, Lara Trump, and Georgina Bloomberg, daughter of billionaire former New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg.
