Patriots owner Robert Kraft and coach Bill Belichick are regulars at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago Club in Palm Beach.

Trump watched the Patriots-Atlanta Falcons Super Bowl at Trump International Golf Club, leaving midway through the third quarter with the Falcons ahead, 28-3, but apparently catching the historic Patriot comeback at Mar-a-Lago.

“What an amazing comeback and win by the Patriots. Tom Brady, Bob Kraft and Coach B are total winners. Wow!” Trump tweeted shortly after New England’s overtime victory.

A few nights later, Kraft dined with Trump and Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe at Mar-a-Lago.

“He knew he was gonna win the game, even when he was down 28-3,” Trump said of Kraft at the dinner, according to CBS News.
