President Donald Trump and Florida Sen. Marco Rubio and their wives were scheduled to have dinner at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday night at the White House.

It’s unclear how the meal went, but Trump at 6:59 p.m. posted a picture on Twitter of himself with Rubio, Vice President Mike Pence and Lilian Tintori, the wife of jailed Venezuelan opposition leader Leopoldo Lopez.

“Venezuela should allow Leopoldo Lopez, a political prisoner & husband of @liliantintori (just met w/ @marcorubio) out of prison immediately,” Trump tweeted.

Rubio has been a vocal critic of the Venezuelan regime of Nicolas Maduro.

The Trump administration on Monday  accused Venezuelan Vice President Tareck El Aissami of drug trafficking and imposed sanctions against him.
