Donald Trump returns to Palm Beach today for the first time as president of the United States.
Air Force One — not the familiar Trump-branded 757 he usually jets in on — is expected to land at Palm Beach International Airport sometime after 4:15 p.m. The president will spend the weekend at his Mar-a-Lago estate, which he and administration officials have dubbed “the winter White House.”
Details of Trump’s schedule had not been released late Thursday, but Trump is expected to make an appearance at Saturday night’s International Red Cross Ball at Mar-a-Lago. Across the Intracoastal Waterway, organizers of an anti-Trump demonstration say they expect 2,000 protesters to show up Saturday afternoon for a 2.4-mile march beginning at the Trump Plaza in downtown West Palm Beach.
