On Julian Assange and the hacking accusations:

Context: The hacking of the Democrats’ email has lived well beyond the end of the 2016 presidential campaign. Democrats blame the Russians for the hacking. U.S. intelligence agencies, and influential GOP Senators, also point the finger at Moscow and Vladimir Putin. Tuesday evening’s interview with Wikileaks chief Julian Assange on Fox News offered Trump a chance to counter the preponderance of evidence and voices pointing blame at the Russians, and threatening to undermine his mandate.

On media bias:

Context: This was a major campaign theme, that a biased media coupled with a corrupt political establishment, shafts the America. Why stop now?

On Ford abandoning plans to move a plant to Mexico:

Context: Trump’s focus on jobs – key to his campaign and Nov. 8 win – is arguably an issue that has won him post-election credibility. He tweeted about this on Tuesday, and expect him to keep this issue on the front burner.

On Obamacare:

Context: The “repeal and replacement” of Obamacare is a top priority with the convening of the 115th Congress, and the inauguration just 16 days away. The mention of U.S. Sen. Chuck Schumer is notable as Schumer took to Twitter Tuesday to debunk the thought of a “Twitter presidency” and defend Obamacare. Game on.
