No nominations or Cabinet hires on Saturday, but there was an important development in the recount bid by Green Party presidential nominee Jill Stein.
Stein said she is dropping her call for a recount in Pennsylvania. That would effectively seal an Electoral College win for President-elect Donald Trump. However, Stein said she will make a “major announcement” regarding the recount process at a 10 a.m news conference Monday outside Trump Tower in New York.
Speaking of the Electoral College, Trump electors in Florida barraged by pleas to change their votes.
