Donald Trump is returning to must-win Florida with a Friday rally in Miami, his campaign announced today.
The part-time Palm Beach resident and Republican presidential nominee will appear at the James L. Knight Center in Miami. Doors open at 3 p.m. and the rally’s start time is listed as 6 p.m. Those interested in attending can sign up here.
Trump campaigned in Pensacola on Friday. His last South Florida appearances were an Aug. 10 rally in Sunrise and an Aug. 11 speech to the National Association of Homebuilders in Miami Beach.
Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton campaigned in Tampa last week.
Polls show Florida and its 29 electoral votes are up for grabs. Clinton can plausibly win the White House without winning Florida; virtually every Republican scenario for winning the presidency requires carrying Florida.
