Donald Trump supporters, nursing a months-old grudge over the way the Florida GOP establishment picked convention delegates, got some revenge last Tuesday.

Trump supporter Joe Budd unseated longtime Palm Beach County Republican State Committeeman Peter Feaman in a little-noticed race on county GOP primary ballots.

 

Feaman, an attorney from Boynton Beach who has held the county post for 12 years, is also Florida’s Republican National Committeeman and has been mentioned as a potential future candidate for state GOP chairman. Though he’ll lose his county position in December, Feaman’s RNC term runs until 2020 and he remains an officer of the Republican Party of Florida until then.
