Jeff Clemens leads Irv Slosberg in business poll for state Senate race

State Sen. Jeff Clemens, D-Atlantis, holds a 34-to-22 percent lead over state Rep. Irving Slosberg, D-Boynton Beach, with nearly one-third of voters undecided in theDemocratic primary for the state Senate District 31 seat, according to a poll conducted for the Florida Chamber of Commerce.

 

The poll finds 30 percent of voters undecided, with 6 percent supporting retired labor investigator Emmanuel Morel and 8 percent refusing to answer.

 

Clemens has a higher favorable rating in the poll, with 39 percent holding a very or somewhat favorable view and 12 percent holding an unfavorable opinion. Slosberg gets a 30 percent favorable and 25 percent unfavorable score.

 

Kitchens Group polled 350 Democrats for the survey; the date of the poll and its margin of error were not included in information provided by the Chamber.
