“Radical Islamic terrorism has invaded our shores and we need military-minded leaders to defeat them — leaders like Carl Domino,” a narrator says over images from the Boston Marathon bombing and San Bernardino and Orlando terrorist attacks. Financial adviser and former state Rep. Domino is a Navy veteran of Vietnam.

“Carl Domino will work with Donald Trump, not against him, to make America great and safe again,” the ad continues, showing a still image of Trump giving a thumbs-up.

Six Republicans, three Democrats and a no-party candidate are running for the seat that Rep. Patrick Murphy, D-Jupiter, is leaving to run for Senate.

Domino spent nearly $1.2 million of his own money in 2014 when he won the GOP nomination but lost the general election to Murphy. This time around, Domino has put $492,898 of his own money into the race, including $35,000 this week.
