Former U.S. House Speaker Newt Gingrich and Florida Gov. Rick Scott have joined the lineup of politicians speaking to the Florida Republican delegation this week.
The Republican Party of Florida announced Tuesday afternoon that the pair has joined the lineup of speakers at the state party’s daily breakfasts during the Republican National Convention this week.
Delegates already have heard from House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy and West Palm Beach resident and former presidential candidate Ben Carson.
On Wednesday, the breakfast lineup includes former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani and author and commentator Dick Morris.
Scott will speak to the delegates just hours afree taking the main stage himself at the convention. Wednesday will be a big night for Florida Republicans as Attorney General Pam Bondi speaks, and Sen. Marco Rubio appears via video.
Joining Scott and Gingrich on Thursday morning are Alabama Sen. Jeff Sessions and former U.S. Ambassador John Bolton.
